sadly i feel mannone is a disaster waiting to happen.As for diaby keep him out of our penalty area this game emphasised our poor defending from free kicks will it be rectified??

I didn’t see the game so can’t comment on the performance as a whole but what concerns me is this late goal thing rearing it’s ugly head again. We suffered last season from some horrors – Spurs, Brum, Liverpool etc and we need to eradicate it because, if it keeps happening, it must be symptomatic of something. I don’t know what, but something.
Aside from that – well done the lads for getting a point away. We’ve almost qualified.

@Andrew – thanks for your effort in getting the Fab interview. That’s a feather in your cap, eh?

and I agree with the one who said it was better in this way than an own goal by Diaby, that would have been more annoying, because it is always a bit your own fault and would’nt have been the first time to lose points in that way

I don’t think it was laziness, I think it was a tactical play, they let AZ play and waited for counter attack, first half it worked well, second half I don’t know really ’cause I was a bit asleep, maybe the sharpness lacked then to score a second but it could have worked out to win 0:1, I waked up in injury time because I’m the type who gets always nervous near the aim, I nearly had to laugh when it happened really, unbelievable, life is a hex sometimes, I just could shake my head and had to smile about that goal quite at the last whistle, I must confess: those things don’t happen to MANU, but those are the courious things in football, may them not happen in important matches, I’m not disappointed or angry about it at all, I had to laugh really

Het were still top with AZ back at the Emirates next up, with the home crowd behind us and hopefully a few more forwards we should get the 3 points we need to qualify. I couldn’t watch the game but listened on arsenal.com, to me we were unlucky not to win but it is just typical when a team sits back all game then with 5 minutes to go try and score and they did. If they had played to win instead of sitting back I am sure our flowing football would have torn them apart. We will see in a couple of weeks.

I think its important that we focus on ourselves as a team, we keep talking about how badly Liverpool, Barca ect are doing. That shouldn’t be our concern, we should have a winning attitude regardless of how well or how badly other teams are doing.

At least Diaby didn’t score an own goal (he almost did). Although Barca lost, their desire to win was exhilarating. The last 20 minutes were a thriller. Unfortunately, I don’t see Red and White fighting with that much passion. I wish I did, but especially in today’s game, you can see they were complacent. This needs to stop. We have to attack like Barca, like we’re going to get molitov cocktails thrown at our bus on the way out of the Camp Nou.

Why were our players lazy? No, they were not. We could not control all the attacking situations well, but that’s not a poor game. I really saw their efforts. A little pity that AZ scored in added times. Move on!!
