Johan Djourou’s wacky new hairdo

by Andrew Weber on March 3, 2010

Long-time readers will know how much of a fan I am of Johan Djourou, so it gives me great pleasure to share the news that his recovery from a long-term knee injury is going well.

“I’m very happy to actually maybe see the end of the tunnel now because it has been a rough route, it has been very hard with ups and downs. But I am working hard to get back on the field. Hopefully in a month and a half I will be back training. I had a good pre-season and for me it was very hard to take when I heard the news that I had to have an operation and it would take that long. But I think I will come back stronger because I have learned a lot.”

Back in training in a month-and-a-half with a wicked new hairdo – what’s not to like?!

Thoughts?

The fact it’s a month and a half, I guess.

But hairdo? Tops.

So that is 6 weeks until he returns to training.
2 weeks of training before there is any contact
2 weeks of contact training
2 weeks of match fitness

Which means – he wont be playing this season.

You should stop writing your blog. Seriously. Be a fan, sure the club will take your money, but no-one needs the tripe you come out with. I’m glad newsnow has introduced the hide/highlight feature…

Djourou is potentially the best defender at the club. An absolute beast of a player, with great pace and skill with both feet. I dream of seeing him regularly starting for The Arsenal.. badbwoy true dat.
