New Arsenal Away Kit Unveiled

by Mike Urbanski on June 15, 2010

Here it is, folks!  The new 2010-2011 Arsenal away kit!  Quite spiffy, if you ask me.  I’ve seen some mixed reactions to it, but I like it.  Now all we need is for the home kit to have the retro cannon logo and white sleeves.  We’ll be the class of the Premiership.  Not that we aren’t already…

@ gooner –

haha Well, I take it you’re in the “not liking” category, then. As I said, there’s been mixed reaction to the kit so far, but I think more positive than negative overall.

I am not buying this shirt, its disgusting. Why couldn’t they just stick to yellow and blue?

6 M7md June 15, 2010 at 10:08 am

what a strange kit !!!! it doesn’t fit for gooners

7 Lolzers June 15, 2010 at 10:11 am

Man, I would have liked a darker maroonish one.

8 Mike Urbanski June 15, 2010 at 10:12 am

I don’t like sending folks off the site, but if you want to see the entire kit, have a look at the Daily Mail/Arsenal page. Full foto of Robin wearing the new kit. Well, a Photoshopped version of it, anyway. The official notification on the kit will come from the dot.com in a few hours.

If the home shirt has white sleeves and a red body I’ll cope with it. Tbh I just love a shirt if its an Arsenal one.

14 gooner0609 June 15, 2010 at 11:01 am

Class, pure and simple.

15 jaygooner June 15, 2010 at 11:18 am

18 Seán June 15, 2010 at 12:00 pm

Its not bad, would have preferred the “red current” to be blue though.

19 vik June 15, 2010 at 12:01 pm

wow thats disturbing….i wish they would bring back the red current one from highbury…that was so slick…

20 Gooner from Sydney June 15, 2010 at 12:42 pm

Don’t like it, very similar to previous yellow

21 schoolboy June 15, 2010 at 1:00 pm

I think it’s classy, sporty and classic too..like this one better than the last season’s dark blue polo shirt

22 jebo June 15, 2010 at 3:49 pm

i think our opponents will love this shirt, as yellow makes them feel better psychologically.

23 thepeople June 15, 2010 at 3:58 pm

31 jsnx June 15, 2010 at 7:08 pm

Class? remove the cl & there is a word more akin to THAT thing.
Just plain & outright hideous.

32 Henry Phillips June 15, 2010 at 8:31 pm

34 GunnerBoss June 15, 2010 at 9:20 pm

Excellent Diaby ……..
How about the Nigerian Goalkeeper guys?
Plus Gourcuff is real rubbish…… Nasri would’a done a lot better….

35 C-Bass June 15, 2010 at 10:21 pm

No thank you. I’ll not be purchasing it.

36 PETER June 15, 2010 at 10:22 pm

37 Arsenal Norway June 15, 2010 at 10:54 pm

This shirt is just beautiful!!!! Cant wait to buy it with Vermaelen on the back :D

38 chybee June 15, 2010 at 11:36 pm

not bad for away jersey..beautiful!

39 SK June 15, 2010 at 11:36 pm

When Nike listens to us, they only take half of it.

YELLOW SHIRT, BLUE SHORTS!

“OK, yellow shirt, what colour is the shorts again? Redcurrent?”

Damn it they should stop trying to be fancy.

Now we’ll have to wait another 2 years for another shot of a yellow away kit.

At least this is much better than what we had for the previous 3 seasons.

40 Zulu Gooner June 16, 2010 at 1:17 am

Brilliant

41 Moscos Omollo June 16, 2010 at 1:32 am

Don’t like the collars – Makes it look tooooo cheeaaap !

42 sanket June 16, 2010 at 2:54 am

its d old one i think v had yellow color jersey b4 as well

43 Anonymous June 16, 2010 at 4:32 am

What happened to the four quality signings that Wenger promised before the world cup? I hear we have 30 million to spend, that wont even get us one quality player. Looks like its going to be another long season ahead

44 3nD0m3Ph June 16, 2010 at 4:55 am

not nice;( looks too much like a macdonalds uniform!!

45 Ja-Maach June 16, 2010 at 5:24 am

nyc. ol those who dnt lyk it, pliz dont buy the jersey.

46 TOM June 16, 2010 at 6:58 am

Kit looks ok,cant really see why people complain about it. Its not a fashion show

47 TOM June 16, 2010 at 7:07 am

Nigerian keeper was ok but its only one decent performance. Brazil looked average tonight, they are strong at the back but midfield and attack is a bit weak. gilberto silva was very slow and gave the ball away alot, cant see them beating spain, Argentina and Holland looked ok but cant see them winning the world cup. Germans looked decent but australia are shit. Bring on the knock out stages.

48 Hey Nonny Mouse June 16, 2010 at 8:25 pm

It’s a winner. Retro yet modern. Ooooo…Clearly the home is going to follow the same stye and we’ll have our white sleeves back at last. I hated that last design. Can I see our boys lifting the Prem trophy in this? Yes I can.

49 dave m June 21, 2010 at 4:16 pm

I think the kit is excellent

50 delano June 21, 2010 at 8:03 pm

The yellow kit comes with luck similar to 2006 champions league campaign and thge last unbeaten season. Hope that happens. However the kit will be rubbish if we are to be fooled by Wenger not buying. Do u people realise that we are being fooled by this fabregas no sense as the season draws closer and Wenger is pretending not to buy. Rumour has it that he is going to convince Gallas after an early exit for France to stay for a season and that will be like a new signing. It is easily noticeable that a backline with Gallas is so porous to attacks let alone the Mexico thumping.

51 ahmed June 22, 2010 at 11:15 pm

that is better than the new home kit

52 Nice kit, i love it June 26, 2010 at 9:34 pm

I love the kit

53 onuba chidi July 5, 2010 at 8:57 pm
