I agree with the points being made about not having had much time, but thats what defines good players from average players, a good player would always come in and make himself count on the park, i dont know i have never really been a fan of eduardo .. i have faith in Vela though hes going to make a great pairing with RVP i guess!
and i think we missed nicky more than RVP on saturday, he would have given us the physical presence upfront as well as in the set pieces, he might not be as deadly as others but he surely has this habit of clinching important goals.
anyways, saturday is gone and we should forget it and keep the lessons learnt!
The League is far from over, but it is surely chelsea's to loose now!
As for the CL fixture, its at emirates and i think the boys will be back at their best . I would be glad if we can start with Walcott, Vela and Arshavin with Fabregas, Song and Nasri in the midfield ..
i am happy for our future though, as we would have a tall nicky and a classy Vela upfront, with the likes of wilshere, merida, ramsey, walcott in the mids, but we have to win something this season!

saturday was disappointing,a flat performance with a lot of players having an off day,but we move on liege on wednesday then the game which will have a massive bearing on our season against chelski.there is no way we can lose that game because if we do chelski are over the hill and far away.f.cked off rvp is injured but we have to find a way to win games with out him and b52, arshavin must start against chelski to make us more direct as we over elaborate in the final third at times.

i can see wot you mean ice, there all like minded and all the same type player, evenin how easily they get injured, its mad...but im not sure where we would put def minded players in a system that has served us wel thus far,i just think the players we hav didnt work hard enough to getbehind the ball yesterday and alot of it was left to song whod been on intern duty and had travelled halfway round the world to get home, like i said i was hugely dissapointed with nasri, ros and ramsey who i felt didnt put in a shift worthy of beating such a resolute opponent, even AW was exasperated after the game and offered no excuse just that you cant expect to win games/leagues on this performance...when we go down i these games its always the same, with a whimper...there were 15 mins left when we conceded and you could be sure utd and chelsea woulda got their equaliser but we simply cant re-raise our game when wer only going through the motions in these games

I always get the feeling that arsenal need more physical strength when they play teams like Sunderland especially during many injuries. Far to many games have been lost like this throughout the last 4-5 seasons. Surely Wenger can promote a couple of big strong youngsters, WHO PLAY FOOTBALL, into his system to boss or beat up the midfiels. Can you remember the goal Adams scored to win the league a few years ago. That was part of wenger's new system of play, which would never have happened under the previous managers. Jay Emmanuel Thomas, FA Youth Cup Champ Captain now on loan-WHY?- and Emman Frimpong are the type of stacha i mean. But he seems to be obsessed with the Nasri, Rosicky, Dudu, Fab, Shava, Vela, Walcott,Diaby, Wilshere, and now Ramsey type player who are all smooth and silky but not ugly enough. Song is the nearest the team has to that but its not enough. Can anyone see what i mean? Or am i talking balls.

Few reasons we ve lost agst Sunderland:
- Bad Pitch for our boys
- Bad weather slippery ground which deeply affected the pace of our boys
- Eduardo as Ive said couple of weeks ago isnt really match fit, he lacks games, he would have never missed that chance in front of the goal with Song, he shud have scored it himself which is not a typical DUDU.
- Rosicky isnt also match fit
- Nasri also needs more games to gain his confidence again.
- Ramsey has lost lots of balls

However, I was very contend with Wenger's overall line up yesterday, as i totaly agree that we have to rest Arshavin, Walcott for the CL game ahead and Chelsea game.Dudu,Nasri and Rosicky were to me strong enough to break Sunderland's defense based on their usual performance but they couldnt, due to those few above reasons. Our 4 Full back including Traore were all fantastic, Song and Fab were wonderfull as usual, but Im a bit desapointed with ramsey though by loosing many of his challenge.
Sunderland were not even so dangerous, we dominated most of the midflied and the whole game in overall.
Anyway, no worry fellow gooners, A home win agst Standard Liege will lift our boys up again agst Ckelski.A win agst Chelski is the Joker.I would put our 1st starting line up agst Sunderland agst Standard Liege and Put on Walcott and Arsha again just after half time Cos Dudu, Rosicky and Nasri need more games and we need those guys to perform well as they are great players.

once again we manage to concede when wev hav the lionshare of possesion and limited our opponents to 3 shots on target,am hugely dissapointed in nasri, ros, ramsey and edu who were fresher than most and just didnt put in the necessary work to get a result there,i hate to admit it but it looked like we thought the goal and the result wud look after itself because we are arsenal...maybe im wrong but at times i feel we are border line arrogant and then cant raise our game when we get sucker punched

sluggish! sluggish! why da hell does always happen? I expect more from rosicky and eduardo the reason we play with 3upfront is to attack not play passes just outside the box.11 points lost,I wonder if that game in hand will even be an advangte. well played gallas and vermeulen, but middle of the park sunderland were giving room don't why didn't the midfield make better use, another thing is wenger knows sunderland game plan score and sit back(anti-football: greece) and that is exactly what happen wenger should of counter that. damn it!

Pathetic display of being pushed off the ball by a lesser but more motivated team.
Passes went astray all day. I am not going to point fingers at individuals; every player had a mediocre to bad day. WHERE WAS THE MOTIVATION TO PUT OURSELVES IN A GOOD PLACE FOR THE UPCOMING GAME AGAINST THE HATED CHELSKI?
