It was real a superb performance by Diaby and Arsenal team as whole played a good game they therefore deserved that win.

Wow, fantastic header by Eduardo!! I saw the whole game live, and I really couldn’t believe my eyes when the ball snuck into the top corner!

In the last couple of games he’s really shown brilliant footwork and technique in general, and he thoroughly deserved a(nother) goal. And what a goal it turned out to be!!

I’m every bit as excited as you are Andy, to see where he goes from here… It seems like good’ol Dudu is back

Just to add to what I said earlier – although I didn’t watch the game apparently Diaby changed it. Yet ‘The Sun’ only gave him a rating of 5. Shows how useless that rag is.

Eduardo’s got goals in his blood, hasn’t he? It’s fantastic. Just what we need really. I always thought he’d come good though – when he scored that amazing flick off the outside of his boot (against Burnley in the Carling Cup wasn’t it?) I just thought ‘This guy’s got something special.’

Regarding Eduardo – I mentioned before Pompey that he is the type of player who needs goals to get confident. He’s been struggling but I expected him to get a few this week because he looked to be finding his feet. Where he goes from here will be exceptionally exciting to see.

Eduardo!!! He’s a goal scorer inni! He does the business. Love the guy.

@Henri – and others – you can’t be too hard on players like Merida, Wilshire etc. these guys are really just starting their careers. They’re not even playing regularly yet. We know they have great skill it just needs time to develop.

@shambogunner – I can’t see Forlan coming at all, mate. He’s another short-arse for a start, the last thing we need. He’s already played in the Prem for Wankchester Ushited and he was a failure. I’m sure he’s a good player but not here, not for us. Ideally we’d get someone on loan because as soon as Bendtner and Van P are back we won’t need him. Either that or he’s got to be happy to play second fiddle at times. I really really think we need a big bastard though, so that when the lock-picking doesn’t work we can try some dynamite.

Disappointed Senderos didn’t play – apparently he’s got some foot ailment.

I think Arsene will be very happy without the extra fixture. Winning the game was crucial.

Diaby was simply awesome from the minute he came in. He’s very good with the ball, he was well positioned all the time, simply brilliant. Too bad he probably won’t have a chance to play the AMC position in the future. Anyone know if he can cross well?

I was quite surprised by Eduardo scoring a header, but it is good he is scoring. Fair point from the ITV pundits that it was a floating cross towards the penalty spot where WH should definitely have handled it.

On a negative side, what about Merida? I was expecting more from him.
