Win exclusive Pelé Sports gear on the Arsenal FC Blog

Win exclusive Pelé Sports gear on the Arsenal FC Blog

A couple of days I mentioned that the good folks at Pelé Sports would be offering up some great gear exclusively to AFCB readers. Well, now the time has come to give them away!

There first item you can win is the Pelé Story Wind Jacket:

The Pelé Story Wind Jacket

With this new wind jacket you can fight off wind and weather and be fashionable in the stands: the extremely light zippered jacket made of 100% polyester with mesh inner lining is very wind- and water-resistant, and the drawstring casing on the hood provides additional protection from the wind. A fantastic jacket to have in cold and wet times. The three stars on the chest stand for the three world cups won by Pelé.

The second prize up for grabs is a terrific Heart and Soul tee from their Pelada collection:

The Heart and Soul Tee

The Heart and Soul Crew is Futsal. Functional and brimming with style, this tee fits perfectly in a skilled player’s wardrobe. Start your match with Pelé’s signature and the Pelé’s Sports’ Pelada emblem on the chest. Choose your color and never forget: your game is more than just technique. Your game is passion and filled with the joy of Futebol bonito.

To win the Pelé Story Wind Jacket

In order to be eligible to win one of these two prizes, all you have to do is answer the following question in the question form below:

Question: What ‘very brazilian’ move is Pelé most proud and especially connected with?

Hint: Answer can be easily found in this article: Pelé Biography

To win the Heart & Soul Tee

To be eligible for the second prize we want you to leave a comment telling me your all-time favourite Arsenal XI and include Pelé in it.

Good luck!

    Keeper: David Seaman
Wing Backs: Ashley Cole, Lee Dixon
Centre Backs: Tony Adams, Kolo Toure
Midfield: Francesc Fabregas, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires
Forwards: Thierry Henry, Pele, Dennis Bergkamp

I believe I am the first one to add Kolo to the all time XI. A bit unique, but he was consistent and strong, and I guess I am a bit of a maverick! Otherwise, they could compete with Man U this year 🙂

Subs: Marc Overmars, Van Persie, Ian Wright, Freddie Ljungberg Wjciech Szczesny (GK)

I have mad faith in our new young goalie with the un-spellable name, Szczesny! I’d initially thought of having Ljungberg in the starting 11, but, that trio of Henry, Pele & Bergkamp seems absolutely perfect!

Tiger gave Stuart Appleby the gift that keeps giving. For the second year in a row, the world’s top player opted out of competing in this week’s season-opening Mercedes Championship.
